My Massive Buck

One night I was hunting and I was with my brother and Dan Hunt. We were in his hunting hut until it was close to darkness and I couldn't wait to shoot a deer. We already saw eighteen deer and I was really excited.
It was close to dark when a group of deer started coming over the hill. Does and little bucks came over the hill and then a massive buck came over the hill and stopped at 140 yards and then stared at us. I pulled up the muzzleloader and when I was aiming at it I finally got a shot off. Then the buck took off running to the south along the corn.
Then my family came along to help look for it and my dad and brother found it. Then the buck popped up and took off running and then up into the water way. Then we trailed it until we didn't want to bump it again.
Then on Sunday morning we found it dead about 1500 yards from where we shot him. Then we gutted him and then we took it to Dan's place to score it and it scored 152 and 3/8 points and had only 1 and 1/8 deduction. It was an amazing night and morning to be there. If it wasn't for my family and Dan, I would have not gotten that amazing, monster buck.

Summer fun Activites

This whole summer I plan on playing sports, go fishing and hunting with my brothers. I would also go outside and play basketball or football with my brothers also. I also have to help with farm chores like baling hay, take care of cows and feed calves. Also move calves and a lot of other chores.
In June I would have to train my heifers hard and help bale the first crop. I will be getting all the supplies like shampoo, halters and other stuff. I am going to clean them and lead them. There names are Amber, Angel, Jenna, Anna-Merrie, and Amanda. Jenna is a black Holstein heifer. The other four are red Holstein heifers. I hope they are going to get blue ribbons. It is the third highest. It is white ribbon, then red ribbon, then blue, and then purple.
In July, I go to my cousin's house and watch fireworks in Earlville. Get my calves clean and load them on and take them to the fair on Tuesday morning. Show them on Wednesday. Then take care of them on Thursday. Then we take them home that Friday after staying four days at the fair.  Then the third week we bale hay and the last week we go on vacation. This year my brothers and I are going to a professional baseball game with my uncle, aunt and my mom's parents.
In August, I usually get ready for school and have to help bale third and fourth crops. Watch in the combine while dad drives it and picks corn.  Then I have fun playing football, wrestling, and soccer for Delhi. Then we have to go back to school. That is my summer. I will have fun and I know it. It is getting close to summer vacation and I can't wait any longer!

How I Want to be Remembered

For my favorite hobbies, I want to be remembered as famous fisherman and hunter. The way I want to be remembered in fishing is to be the first man to ever catch every type of fish in the world. Which doesn't count sharks, whales, or dolphins. I am going to mount every type of fish that are big. I hope I will be able to do it when I'm older. The way I want to be remembered as a hunter is to hunt every type of not endangered animals. It starts from whitetail to raccoon to zebra to fox and so on. I will mount every type of deer, bear, rodent, and finally bird like turkey and pheasants.
For sports,  I want to be remembered as a professional football and basketball player, number eleven. In football I want to be remembered as the best defensive tackle ever. I want to set the record as the person that wants to have the most quarterback sacks and the most tackles ever. I also want to be in a super bowl and win it with the Steelers. In basketball I want to be remembered as the person who scored the most points like Michel Jackson. Also I want to dunk a ball from the spot he did. I want to be like him.
I wish I could be able to do this with Alex, my friend. Which his number is number ninety-nine.
Also, I want him and me to be remembered as the first people to make a hunting paradise for hunters to hunt and also for fishermen to fish in the stream. For memories of big fish and big bucks will be passed down forever. They will all be coming back. But in the mean time I will be thinking of it because I am not old enough to do it and plus I do not have enough money.

Spring Story Of My Calf

It was Thursday, March, 20th when it happen. She was a red Holstein but pretty much all white. She was born a week early but she was really tall, up to my waist.  She was born on one of the worst days ever. That night we had a lock-in for our church and it was really busy morning already. We had to get everything ready to go and now we also had to take care of a new calf. That morning I woke up and went to look to see if there was a calf and there was. So I had to rearrange the calf barn and get her into her spot to milk. Then I fed the calf barn and then fed her when my dad was done milking, Amy. I was curius who her father was and his name was Any. So I thought of names that started with a and ended with y. So I named her Abby which started and ended with those letters. Then I had to get ready for school, even though I wanted to stay home and " talk" and sleep with her. It has been a month now   and she is really tall.

If you get a concussion....

I think after you get a concussion in sports. You should not play because you could hurt yourself even more if you get hit hard again. In a study it shows that football players who had suffered more than three will have tripled the risked of depression.  With a concussion, if you don't get some sleep you could commit  suicide. In three hundred thousand sports you could get a concussion with anything. Hines Ward said," Don't use hard helmets, use the leather ones because they are softer. This is why I think you would better be safe than hurt or killed. Which I agree with Hines Ward. Don't play sports with a concussion.

Compare And Contrast

Spring and Winter are different season but they do have things in common. In both seasons you could get wet and animals and people die. People and animals are also born like calves born any day. Things that are the different is in winter it is cold and snow is every where.Crops can't grow and trees don't have leaves. It is hard to drive on the roads. Can hunt and trap animals but you can't play sports. In the Spring, plants and crops are growing back. It is easy to drive and it is warm. Bad for hunters cause you can't trap or hunt deer but you can play sports.
I think the best season is Spring because it is warm. A lot of calves are born on our farm. Another good thing is that you don't have to wear a lot of clothing or heavy coats to stay warm.

If I Was In Charge ......

If I was in charge of the hunting laws, many things would be different. One rule would be is only one tag for everyone in Iowa and no one else or unless if all the deer are gone. I will let only Alex, Eric my dad, Mitch, my mom, Missy, Zach, his dad and me or unless if I know them well like friends. All that other people shoot does while we shoot bucks. I would make it twenty dollars for friends and twenty - five dollars for people that are not friends.
You can't hunt birds unless if you are those people. It would be illegal to hunt or trap anything.
I would make it legal to hunt with me but you have to use my guns and buy your own ammo. We  could hunt anywhere and any contentment. You would have to buy meat from me. If you would want some. It is cheap and also expensive.
    .
P.S. This is a wish, not true
